<- back July - 2009 In Need of a New Propagation Guru Possibility Place Nursery’s propagator, Bridget, has decided to return to school to pursue an advanced degree. Our loss may be a gain for a talented and enthusiast person looking for a position in plant production dealing with native plants. The position is full time and requires a good knowledge of native plants and seed based production. We are willing to train (we do things a little different around here) and assist in educational opportunities to further an understanding of natives and how they grow. There is a physical aspect to the job and being able to operate machinery, lift material and be on your feet for much of the day is required. Being computer literate (we’re Mac here), be organized with orders and seedling counts and able to talk with customers is also a must, however, these are more fun than they sound.
We like to have fun around here and we’d like the person that we bring on to have a good time on the job. So, we’re looking for a level of camaraderie to make the working environment a pleasant one. If you feel that you have something to offer to the position we are willing to read through your resume` and give an interview. Please fell free to call us if you any questions before you submit a resume`.
