Bottlebrush Buckeye
Aesculus parviflora

Although Bottlebrush is not a native of Illinois, it is still native to the U.S. found in eastern and southern mountain and coastal states. Blooming around the the first week in July in spectacular fashion with 12" long candles of many flowers. Humming birds and night flying sphynx moth. For Illinois we recommend that this plant be planted in light shade protected from the west for best results.
