Heath Aster produces an abundance of classic daisy-like flowers with white petals and yellow centers. As with most asters, it blooms late summer to early fall, lasts for about 2 months, and attracts a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators loo ... king for their last bit of nectar and pollen for the season. The plant has a bushy, sprawling growth habit. Trim in late May to early June to avoid staking later in the year. In open areas, this plant will form small colonies.
