Lake County Forest Preserves

Do more good with your garden. For more than a decade, the Lake County Forest Preserves and Possibility Place Nursery have partnered to host one of the most visited native plant sales in Chicagoland.  We are hosting an online plant sale this year in addition to the in-person sale at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville in May.

Your purchases from the online sale will be shipped to your door.  Pre-sales are open NOW for spring.

Please use the links below to be registered as a Forest Preserves shopper.  Key details for easy shopping:

• Perennial flats require purchases in multiples of 18, in any combination of species.
• Some perennials will also be available in 1 gallons.
• Species available while supplies last.  If your desired plant is out of stock, please enter your name and email in the “Notify Me” section to be notified when the plant becomes restocked.
• Trees and shrubs will begin shipping April first, and forbs and grasses will ship in May.
• Possibility Place Nursery will notify you when your order ships.
